Sneak Peak

Well I can't report things are going SMOOTHLY - we've run into a few snags. Mainly the fact that all the end panels are unsatisfactory. While the cabinet fronts are gorgeous, the side/end panels, including the refrigerator panels and the back of the peninsula, are veneers that have virtually no grain and are slightly off from the color of the cabinet faces. Fortunately, the Home Depot designer has a solution for us (they will order new veneers), but it means adding some time to our project . I had my melt-down last night and this morning, but I'm feeling a little calmer today. Here's a sneak peak of the work so far (look closely and you can see the problem I described):
